Green Energy Technologies Business Mission
28 October – 1 November 2018, Indonesia & Singapore

About 40 European companies from 15 different European Union (EU) Member States embarked on a week-long Green Energy Technologies business mission to Indonesia and Singapore. They showcased innovative technologies in the areas of biomass, biogas, carbon capturing, energy conservation and many other green solutions.

Healthcare & Medical Technologies Business Mission
28 August – 4 September 2018, Singapore & Philippines

50 European companies from 15 European Union (EU) Member States travelled to Singapore and Philippines from 28 August to 4 September 2018. The selected European companies showcased solutions such as Medical Waste Management, Laboratory Equipment, Aesthetic/Cosmetic Equipment, Dental Products and Supplies, Pharmaceutical Supplies and Disposables, IT Solutions, Telemedicine and Remote Health Monitoring, Assistive Technologies, Pain/Rehabilitation Equipment, Imaging and Non-Imaging Diagnostic and other technologies.

Environment & Water Technologies Business Mission
8 – 13 July 2018, Singapore & Malaysia

46 European companies travelled to Singapore and Malaysia for a week-long business mission from 8 to 13 July 2018. The 9th business mission under the EU Business Avenues focuses on technologies such as environment and pollution control, catchment management, water treatment, building materials, pumping system and many more.

Information & Communication Technologies Business Mission
25 – 30 June 2018, Singapore &Thailand

47 European companies from 18 European Union (EU) countries took part in the one-week event business mission to Singapore and Thailand in June 2018. The selected European companies showcased technology innovation in sectors such as cyber security, Internet of Things (IoT) as well as software and mobile applications at NXTAsia, a part of ConnecTechAsia. The business mission then travelled to Bangkok, Thailand on 29 to 30 June 2018 continuing their venture for new business partners.

Organic Food & Beverage Business Mission
15 – 20 May 2018, Singapore & Vietnam

Over 40 European organic food and beverage producers from 14 different European Union (EU) Member States travelled to Singapore and Vietnam, on a week-long business mission from 15 to 17 May 2018. A large variety of a large variety of fruits and vegetables, as well as high-quality food products such as wine, spreads, olive oil, condiments or coffee were introduced – all of which are EU Organic certified. The EU Organic logo is a quick and easy way for consumers to not just recognise the organic produce but to be assured of the high standards of the organic produce.

Green Energy Technologies Business Mission
23 – 27 October 2017, Singapore & Philippines

37 European companies embarked on a week-long Green Energy Technologies business mission to Singapore and Philippines in October 2017. Innovative green energy technologies in the areas of biomass, biogas, energy efficient solutions, electric vehicles, smart grid, solar, hydropower, wind power, waste-to-energy, and other solutions were showcased as part of the Singapore International Energy Week (SIEW), co-locating with Asia Clean Energy Summit 2017. This is the second participation in SIEW to leverage on Singapore’s position as a leading regional hub for the development of clean technologies, and its support for clean energy companies in developing project-financing capabilities. The mission then travelled to Manila, Philippines on 26-27 October for a series of business meetings with local energy stakeholders

Healthcare and Medical Technologies Business Mission
4 – 8 September 2017, Singapore &Thailand

The Healthcare and Medical Technologies Business Mission, under the EU Business Avenues in South East Asia programme, travelled to Singapore and Thailand from 4 – 8 September 2017 to tap onto potential business opportunities in the fast-growing region. This programme allowed European companies to establish contacts with key regional players and discuss possible collaborations and business partnerships as well as to secure new business partnerships with local and regional stakeholders.

The selected European companies showcased innovative and high technology solutions spanning from assistive technologies, dental products, information and communication technologies for health, to specialised and remote health monitoring equipment, as well as nanotechnology healthcare and medical equipment.

Information & Communication Technologies Business Mission
23 – 27 May 2017, Singapore &Thailand

49 European companies from 18 European Union (EU) Member States start a week-long Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) business mission to Singapore and Thailand from 23 – 27 May 2017. This fourth EU Business Avenues mission showcased information and communication technologies in big data and cloud, cyber security, future communications, Internet of Things (IoT) and software and mobile applications, in a bid to secure new business partnerships with local and regional stakeholders. The mission was first present in a dedicated EU Business Avenues Pavilion at CommunicAsia2017, the 28th International Communications and Information Technology Exhibition & Conference, from 23 to 25 May. The business mission then travelled to Thailand on 26 and 27 March for a pre-arranged business-to-business meetings with the local companies and visitors.

Contemporary European Design Business Mission
8 – 14 March 2017, Singapore & Indonesia

The Contemporary European Design Business Mission, under the EU Business Avenues in South East Asia programme, travelled to Singapore and Indonesia from 8 - 14 March 2017 to tap onto potential business opportunities in the fast-growing region.

The business mission saw 40 Europe-based Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) showcasing cutting-edge and creative European designs, coinciding with the International Furniture Fair Singapore (IFFS) and Indonesia International Furniture Expo (IFEX).

The comprehensive showcase included furniture, interior lighting, finished home textiles, wallpaper, carpets and decorative items such as pottery, high-end design tableware and cutlery.

Green Energy Technologies Business Mission
24 – 28 October 2016, Singapore & Malaysia

35 European small and medium enterprises (SMEs) from 13 different European Union (EU) Member States took part in the week-long Green Energy Technologies business mission to Singapore and Malaysia in October 2016.

The second business mission was held at a dedicated EU Business Avenues in the South East Asia Pavilion at the Asia Clean Energy Summit 2016. The Summit was part of the Singapore International Energy Week.

The selected European companies showcased innovative and high technology solutions spanning from energy solutions for industry and utilities, energy management software, waste-water solutions and green building applications, to specialised and remote monitoring equipment, as well as cooling, gas and PV-related modules.

Environment & Water Technologies Business Mission
11 – 15 July 2016, Singapore & Vietnam

The EU Business Avenues in South East Asia, which aims to promote European small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in the region, kick-started the five-year long programme with its first business mission on environment and water technologies areas in early July 2016.

Timed with the Singapore International Water Week and Clean Enviro Summit Singapore from 11 to 13 July 2016, the Environment & Water Technologies business mission brought 30 European companies which showcased innovative and high-end technology offerings, following which, the companies moved on to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam on 14 and 15 July.

The participating European companies covered a broad range of sub-sectors ranging from air pollution control, biogas, fresh water supply, waste management, waste water management and water solutions. Over 1000 business-to-business meetings with the local players were arranged for the participating European companies during the one-week business mission, with some companies obtaining quality leads for future partnerships..
