Satavia Ltd. is a Cambridge, UK-based company that offers aircraft engine manufacturers and airlines digital environmental intelligence on atmospheric contaminants to improve the safety, performance and operating costs of aviation.

We aggregates cutting-edge software technologies developed in Atmospheric Science with Artificial Intelligence and offers data solutions to engineering problems affecting the aviation industry. Environmental factors in the atmosphere, like dust, sulphur, ice, and volcanic ash, accelerate wear of aircraft components and unscheduled maintenance costs the industry £billions each year. Aircraft operators, manufacturers and maintenance repair organisations now increasingly share maintenance liability through ‘power-by-the-hour’ services for the lifetime of the aircraft. Our cloud-based digital intelligence platform uses big data and advanced analytics to track the exposure of any aircraft, anywhere in the world, to contaminants during flight.

We offers data-by-the-hour services to minimise disruption, proactively plan maintenance, extend asset service life and maximise asset value, and reduce costs by £100Ms/year/OEM customer. The Satavia team combines leading expertise in atmospheric science, artificial intelligence and data science, with extensive aviation and transport executive-level experience.

Satavia is ranked in the 2017 Tällt Ventures Disrupt 100 list and has recently won over £1.5m grant funding since 2015 from Innovate UK, Aerospace Technology Institute, and the European Space Agency for Satavia; and secured sponsorship from Microsoft, AWS and IBM.
